A story you can hear, touch, and feel up close
We invite you to join a small-group tour at one of the most authentic historical events in Lithuania – the Days of Live Archaeology in Kernavė.
This is a unique opportunity not only to observe but also to actively engage in a vibrant ancient world, where historical reconstructions become your personal experience.
Crafts tour
Curonians, Selonians, Yotvingians, Vikings, and other craftsmen will tell you about the reconstructed crafts, clothing, daily life, and the peculiarities of their eras.
You’ll be able to ask questions, closely examine the artifacts, and even try some of the activities yourself. Blacksmiths, potters, weavers, leatherworkers, and other artisans work just as they did hundreds of years ago.
A guide will help you understand the significance of these crafts and their roles in ancient communities.
Foodie tour
Learn about Lithuania's cultural heritage through food! We will visit the living history area to learn about culinary and medical herbs of medieval Lithuania, stop at a medieval kitchen, learn about the traditional menu at the restaurant, and learn about some of Lithuania's most delicious bread, charcuterie and cheese in the market.
